We spend the first two nights (Good Friday and Saturday) in The Old Library, which is in the middle of Arasaig. Streetmap reckons it is on the right hand side of the road, on the corner. And the pictures below seem to agree with this. More details at www.oldlibrary.co.uk.

Doune Grid Ref: NG 704036
Doune Location

On Easter Sunday we get the boat over to Doune for four nights. Doune is situated on the end of the Knoydart Peninsular, and is only accessible by boat. We will be picked up at Mallaig public steps, where ear plugs will be distributed if it is rough. There is a web site at www.doune-marine.co.uk which will give you more infomation.

Kinloch Lodge Hotel Location

When we come off Knoydart, we will be dropped back at the public steps. From here we pick up the cars and catch the ferry over to Armadale on Skye for the last two nights. The Hotel is a right turn off of the A851 about 15 minutes drive north of the ferry. Lady Claire Macdonald of Macdonald has a web site with a bit on the Hotel at www.claire-macdonald.com. As you will be able to tell from the site, she is a bit of a famous cook, and 5 course dinners are included.
